Mouse speed settings

Is there a workaround to increase the mouse speed and acceleration? I already found something in a very old thread

Editing the confUser.ini did the trick until one of the last patches brakes it again.

 

Any ideas?

Steam should have the option - do not sync the game settings. Try turning it off. Then all settings will be stored on your computer. Before the next patch, create a backup copy - "cofuser.ini" (folder is "my doc ..."), and place it after the update.
