It is interesting to see them flying with open cockpits, and some of the Sturmoviks not having rear gunners in place.

 

Also, the A-20 was dropping a mixture of bombs?

Outstanding!  Thanks for sharing!  It's a credit to the devs that, if the footage was colorized, it would look a lot like the sim (or vice versa).  I thought it was interesting that one group of IL-2 mod 1943s basically level-bombed the Luftwaffe airfield instead of being in a shallow dive.

I think the Sturmovik gunners just have their heads ducked below the fuselage, you can see one head come then duck back down in the nearest plane. Also not sure if they were level bombing the airfield or not, in the clip before they were in a shallow dive firing their guns.
