In game recorder

Hello fellow flyers, 

 

I have a question about the recorder in the IL Sturmovik BoS game. When I use it, it generally cuts out and I have to press record again. Then when I end a mission I get error messages saying the recorder stopped because it reached the maximum of 500MB. Is this normal ? Can I change anything to increase the record memory ?

 

I do use dedgear to actually record the full mission, but I like to occasionally record with the in game recorder at the same time to watch back dogfights without all the markers and pointers. If there is a way of recording longer with the in game recorder that will be great news so I can watch the full mission from different perspectives (much more immersive) and also would create better videos.
