Indufuskellum Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 I think I may have made an initial mistake when I tried to install the Throttle originally ,now I cannot calibrate because it shows up as PCB VPC.CNT.V03 is there anyway to delete the file or change settings ? I cannot find where the files are installed ,have requested ticket with Virpil but still awaiting answer. TIA.
kalbuth Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 You need to import a configuration file first. They are located at the same place you have installed the Virpil configuration software
Indufuskellum Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 The configuration files are all there ,these are the latest files ,unfortunately I installed the earlier files which maybe I screwed up !
Cathaoir Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Try resetting the throttle....then update the firmware. You should be able to set it up. Also follow the instructions from the Vipril site on loading and saving config's.....see attached photo on how to reset. Also try putting the VPC directory into the root of ? that is the root of C drive not a smilly.....sorry about that.... 1
Indufuskellum Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 (edited) When I tried your method ,the update firmware comes up with "no bootloader" this is why I am trying to find the path to the files.By the way I have VPC firmware under C:/VPC ? ? Thanks for trying ,hopefully Virpil will get back to me tonight, dying to try my new "toys" ; Edited September 12, 2018 by Indufuskellum missed part of message
Cathaoir Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Looking at your screen shot you have it under c:\program files\VPC....I believe that the software defaults to the root of c.....anyway good luck.
No_85_Gramps Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 (edited) Make sure the path is correct to the firmware files on the firmware screen. You can navigate to it from the browse button. I had an issue previously and using cathaoir's method worked for me. Edited September 12, 2018 by Gramps pic
Indufuskellum Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 Changed it to C:/ and double checked the path now, if someone has the same throttle what is the device pcb reading ? Thanks
Indufuskellum Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 Yes that is the file I thought was for the throttle but the program will not let me change it noway!! I have spent days trying ,Have just got the Virpil support guys going to team view to see what is causing the problem, fingers crossed, thanks again for the help. Will let you know the outcome.
Indufuskellum Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 All Fixed thank you everyone, the Virpil rep spent 30 minutes sorting the problem in the ini file and reset the throttle, he was fantastic I must admit there after sales Tech service is second to none. Once again Thanks 3
