Who can replay Flights Records made by other?

I believe that if a user who own BOK and make a Flight record in the BOK map, that flight record will be only be re-played by BOK owners, is that true?  is the same for BOS, BOM, BOBP?

Now, going one step beyond, if a user record a flight record with Quick mission builder with a Spitfire Mk.IX (from BOBP), can be re-played by people who don´t own that plane?

To prove the above, I have just recorded a 2 min flight with quick mission builder in the BOK map and with two Sptifire Mk.IX against a FW-190 A8 (from BOBP) and two He-111 H16 (from BOK):

You only need to download the zip file and put the folder and the .trk file in the \data\tracks folder of IL-2 installation. Then, it will appear in your Flight Records when you launch the game.

I just wonder if people who don´t have Early BOBP or BOK can run that track.

My final question is if there is a map that can be run by anyone who owns BOS, or BOM, or BOK, or BOBP.  Is Lapino available for everyone?

I belive you have all the files (maps, plane models and such) regardless of what you have bought. You just don't have access to use that stuff.

When you buy for example a collector plane, you don't need to download anything extra. You just activate it in the website and boom, it is in the game.

When you say "access to use", does it also include not using them in flight records made by someone else?

I'm not sure. My bet is that flight records would work out fine. I can't test your file since I've the expansions.

Edit:

If you want to try it yourself here is a short track with Mig-3 in Moscow map.

Thanks, but I have BOM as well with the Mig-3.

The reason for not appearing the logo plate BOM under my photo is because I didn´t supported the Early BOM (I didn´t do it because there were not VR at that time).

I don't have BoBp, and I can replay the track, I can change views, I can switch planes, I can do anything you can normally do with a track.

That´s good then.

It means that through Flight Records anyone can experiments as spectator how a plane or map looks like, before buying it. That´s nice. We could then create a public database of tracks for every plane and map and people could see how nice is the cockpit of the A-20B before buying BOK or the P-51D before buying BOBP.. This is specially good for VR.

In any case, my purpose was to create just one common track which can be re-played by anyone and use it to measure performance. Probably I will use the track from BOK posted in first post. It is 2 minutes long and it is a mix of everything (tracers, damage, AI, clouds, village, etc).

In addition, I am thinking to use it as a pattern track for visual acuity of VR devices (using the bomber image at time 00:00). So, I (or anybody) can make pictures through lens with different VR devices and compare them.

Interesting ideas:salute:

Heres what I made of your track;

As you recorded it on the Kuban autumn map, by running in mods on mode I can watch your action on the modded Kuban winter map.

I haven't got VR (yet) but I enabled the unlinked-head camera mode so I can look around with my TrackIr.  I would imagine you can do the same in VR?

Yes, in VR I can move my head wherever I want when I replay the track.

Related to this topic, these track files will be nice to mess about with when the graphical improvements come to the sim, especially the new flames and such.
