Title says all looking at an and vega 64 what are they like at running this on ultra ?

Shouldn't have a problem, runs fine, I'm using a stock OC'd 54.  Just make sure it has good cooling, tend to run on the warm side overclocked.  It handles smoke and some of the other effects much better as compared to the guys I fly with who use 1070's, always commenting about fps dropping and stuttering around smoke.  The only reason I currently don't run ultra is the color fix mode won't run in it.

 

Used to have steady 90FPS, but that's all out the window since the last major update with expanded horizons,pretty sure for all cards.  Be happy if you can keep it up constantly above 45, that said it's been a smooth flying card, no troubles.

 

 

A little old but still a good basic guide on setting one up.

The reason my results were lower than most is because the Samsung Odyssey limits FPS at 45 if 90 cannot be maintained.  So the max FPS is limited by software, not hardware.  If you look at the minimums the FPS is similar to some of the higher clocked Intel CPUs.

Didn´t know that. So it looks like the ASW Oculus mechanism. In that case your results are not fully valid for the test.

In the Odyssey (and all WMR), how the missing frame is produced? just repeating last one? or some clever extrapolation?

 

Is it possible to de-activate this mechanism like in the Oculus when we put ASW off?
