=OKT=Muas Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Hello everybody. Here is some unexpected behavior I found on the Complex Trigger Translator which leaves me no choice than call it: a bug. If you uncheck the box On Cylinder / Off Sphere at the Complex Trigger properties the detection area should be a sphere with its center located at the trigger icon and its radius set as per the Radius input field. Even though you will see the yellow sphere shape around the icon in the editor 3D view, it wont work as expected... What is happens in game, is that no matter how high you place your Complex Trigger icon, the sphere center will always be located on the ground, thus the detecting area will be an half sphere radius high (like a dome), located at the vertical projection of the icon position - as if its Y coordinate was set to 0. This can be useful if you want to trigger some event when a vehicle or plane enters (or exits) the "dome" volume on the ground at the specified radius. But, if instead you want to detect some aircraft entering of exiting some particular spherical volume at a specified altitude, it won't work, as the detection volume is always half buried on the ground as explained above. Of course you can work around it by using a Check Zone Trigger not as versatile, but it will sure place the detection sphere at the icon altitude, but you will be then limited to Single Player missions, as it won't work in Multiplayer. If you really need the Complex Trigger functionality for altitude in Multiplayer, use the Cylinder shape detection option, and forget about a specific altitude, as it will always fire from ground level to infinite height. And that is it. A bug.

Concur and this was discussed and been turned in to the Devs as a know bug long ago. Although I couldn't find the discussion with search. It's buried somewhere in the depths of the Mission Builder or Bug forum. Perhaps it time to do another Bug report. On the Subject of C-Zones not working in MP. C-Zones do work as advertised in an designated D-server such as Battlefields or Wings of Liberty. However they do not work within the Games Dogfight Server setup that folks are able to create through their game. This is known as several reports have been sent to Devs for a correction. C-Zones also work within designated D-server MP for altitude limitations such as your looking for with regards to the C-Triggs. Good Luck with your Mission Designing, Tip 1

It's unfortunate that some features work on DServer but not within the built in Multiplayer mode...
