Muff_Huggar Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 I am positive I posted this last night, but I can't find the question anywhere. After I have been in combat against another plane or ground target, sometimes a "box" will appear around it. I don't know what it means. I'm at work so I took a stock photo from the IL-2 website and drew the "box" image on it on the port side to illustrate what I'm talking about. This box is not part of aim assist or padlock. This is in FC (even though the plane in the photo I provided is from a different area...hey, it's what they had that was easy to grab).
Muff_Huggar Posted September 8, 2018 Author Posted September 8, 2018 I am going to make a guess on this one after some further flying around tonight. I noticed when I went into Quick Mission and selected mission location on the map that it uses the same boxlike "icon" to denote the selected mission on the map. I went into a Quick Mission where there were three tanks in the field. Only one of those tanks had the box drawn around it. So I think it's the actual thing that you have to destroy to complete that Quick Mission. I don't know if you kill the first one does it then highlight the next and so forth until you've killed them all or if just destroying the one in the box is sufficient to complete the mission. This is my guess, at least.
