jozeff Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 Hi all! I was wondering if there is a method to reduce the haze a bit in il2 Bos. I use the Oculus Rift and in VR the exterior looks very misty and foggy. I mis the crisp colors of the landscape I see in p3d or fsx for example. DCS has a bit the same issue. The landscape look a bit dull. Thanks for your thoughts!! Jozeff
Finkeren Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 (edited) It depends on the atmospheric conditions. In clear, dry weather there is very little haze on the horizon. It is not something that can be turned off. It’s funny, I was just on a plane from Copenhagen to Spain yesterday, and even though the air was clear and the sky only partly cloudy the humidity was apparently such that there was extreme haze, anything beyond 20-30km was a greyish blur - more extreme than anything I’ve seen in the game. When we landed in Alicante on the other hand, there was 7/10 cloud cover but apparently very low humidity and my view of the horizon was unobstructed for hundreds of kilometers. jozeff Posted September 7, 2018 Author Posted September 7, 2018 Ok I'll have to check for correct weather settings then! I read some stuff about a VR mod that I want to try. Cheers Jozeff
