Blake231 Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 Hello, I apologize if this is listed in the forms somewhere already, I searched a bit and couldn't find it. Does anyone happen to know that if I preordered Bodenplatte now, would it be something that I could redeem on steam later when it has been released?
ShamrockOneFive Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 If you've already purchased something on Steam, you're covered. You can buy whatever else you want from the store here.

You will no longer get steam key and it won't be on steam if you buy it here. It will work with your steam version and you will see it and be able to play but it's not going to be in your steam library. So if you want everything in library, wait for steam release. If you don't care, buy it here.
Herne Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 I use the steam library to launch the game exclusively. TBH I am grateful that I only have one of the IL2 GB's games there for me to launch. My library is cluttered with stuff as it is

Are you both saying that that I can launch my il2 BOS steam version game and have access to the content I buy from the store here? (Like Bodenplatte). Thanks in advance.

montag Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 Hi Blake. Yes that is what they mean. I also purchased BoS from steam. I also now have Moscow, Kuban, and a few of the collectors planes which were all purchased from the IL-2 website. I always launch from Steam so I can use SteamVR and my account is linked with IL-2 so I have access to everything I have purchased.
Blake231 Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 Got it. Thank you so much for the reply and help understanding
