A/C Setup menu no longer works

Brief description: Setup menu for player a/c no longer works in Mission Start page
 

Detailed description, conditions: I have somehow lost the ability to select a/c setup (skins, modifications, weapons parameters, etc.) The A/C Setup button that appears next to the START button for missions in Career, Scripted Campaigns & Missions, etc. is there, but when it is selected the new screen shows my a/c with ACCEPT button in lower right but no menu with options to change a/c setup i.e. select skin, weapons loading, etc.  This is the case for all a/c types and missions.
