gunnery on La5 for hit on scissors is very hard.

Ignore whiners Talon, you did very well. Is not about flaps or vvs guns, it's about the pilot. Well done!

 

PS. it's so funny everytime a red pilot shares a video with kills, it's always about the plane; but when a luftie does it, it's because of their amazing shots and skills

Try to win a low-speed dogfight with a La5FN vs a 109 (a light one, like F4 or G2/4)... flaps and ammo won't help you a lot. 

 

 

EDIT: Correction, flaps will just improve a bit your survival time against the 109

Well done, good video. Great flying for both pilots. I think the 109 made a great defense.

But he was thinking "Hey the La is with landing flaps close to stall speed, (if I keep my speed higher) I can accelerate and outrun it" , then well, you can't, it accelerates like a Ferrari then it zooms like V2 rocket. An ace maker for sure.
