Multiple Monitor support

How long???

VR support was added and that was awesome and needed.

 

But for those of us that don't have VR but do have multiple monitors, I think we have waited patiently long enough.  Please, give us a system that is similar to xplane 11.  Simple and easy to set up and tweak

 

Being forced to use surround works, kind of, but having GUI items slung to end of extra wide screen, and not being able to have a fourth monitor below for gauges...its just not optimal; especially for a modern flight sim

I myself would settle for a bombsight that isn't cut off, rendering it useless in 5760x1080.  I'm sure it's a low priority for a small team, given the relatively small number of players with a 3 screen setup. But I would definitely appreciate it! Switching to one monitor at 1920x1080 if I want to fly a bomber takes away the wow factor of having 3 screens in surround. Such a huge difference in immersion!

It's probably on very few peoples' priority but to me, immersion factor, given the limitations of g forces, movement, etc, is greatly enhanced by vision.

They took a giant, and much appreciated, step with VR.  However, VR has its own pros and cons.  This is overlapped by multi-screen setups

 

I am not just talking about a "3-screen" surround system.  I'm talking about a true mulit-screen option, as in x-plane.  The first time I set up x-plane 11 with the three eye level surround monitors plus lower monitors, I was floored by what a difference in immersion those lower screens add above the 3 upper screens.

also, having true mulit-monitor support like this allows for any number of different quantity and size of monitors from 2 to however many your set up will allow  and they don't even HAVE to be the same size.
