Radium luminescent instruments inside the cockpit

I have noticed the limunescence of gauges depends also on the shadow. I have flown at 18-19 in autumn map and luminescence was changing dynamically depending on shadows inside the cockpit.

It looks awesome.

Lol it cracks me up to learn about the radium craze inbetween the wars. They used to market it as healthy so there were 100 of radium products.  Some of my personal favourites are radium condoms, make up and chocolate. Who knew that was gonna be a bad idea??

Who says it was a bad idea? After I have brushed my teeth with my radium toothpaste I rinse my mouth out with water from my luminous radium water glass, check the time on my radium watch face before donning my fibreglass underwear and my asbestos suit, before lighting a phosphorus topped cigarette on the side of the packet, heading out the door and driving to work without a seat belt. 

 

Some people say this is unhealthy but I've been doing it for years and I'm urfhyuggadaddysizzlesizzlewonk....

There was a radium pillow as well.

 

As a matter of fact, there's a well documented case of one guy who actually got cancer from using it. The pictures thereof are...not for the faint of heart.

I can't believe that the developers of this sim are mindlessly exposing the whole fan base to radium-coated instruments. Big law suit coming their way I think...
