Jade_Monkey Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Youtube just suggested this and I really enjoyed it. After sitting in a real P-47 cockpit a few weeks back (i even got to close the canopy!) I can imagine the feeling of being in the B-25. I do hope one day it will be flyable in BoBP or as a premium plane (to be fair). 2
Docjonel Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I thought PBJ stood for Peanut Butter and Jelly... The Collings Foundation does offer flights on its B-25 Tondelayo. https://www.collingsfoundation.org/aircrafts/north-american-b-25-mitchell/ I've been up on their B-17G Nine o' Nine and it was worth every penny: 2

I got the same exact picture as you when I was there last.

Are these in Stow MA? I know the foundation is there but are all the planes there? their website is a bit ambiguous on that. Edited September 4, 2018 by Jade_Monkey

I’m pretty sure they’re in New Smyrna Beach. 1

The schedule for the remaining stops is here: https://www.collingsfoundation.org/events/category/wings-of-freedom-tour/map/ The 30 minute flight on the B-25 is $400. As I said, I went on the B-17 and it was worth every penny! 1
Jade_Monkey Posted September 4, 2018 Author Posted September 4, 2018 (edited) Awesome! Plenty of events near me! Thanks a lot. Edited September 4, 2018 by Jade_Monkey
Cybermat47 Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 Damn, I really have to visit the states some time.

The insides of these planes, even the B-17's and B-24's, are so tight you wonder how any aircrew got out when they went down. ? 13 hours ago, PB_Cybermat47 said: Damn, I really have to visit the states some time. Aussies are always welcome. Let us know if you should head in this direction. I'm East Coast USA about equidistant between New York and Boston (2 hours to either). More shots I took of the B-17 in flight: 1
