Any possibility of future add of Fieseler storch?

Hello,

 

I know that plane can be flown in 1946 when modded, but christ, I would give good amounts of money if they add it in BoX.

 

Since there are people who enjoys and loves the Ju52 (people who doesn't limit to fly fighters), I guess there would be people who would love the fieseler too.

 

And since it was one of the most versatile planes of the war, I guess it could be used in a similar way than Ju52 is used in the sim.

 

Anyone knows if the devs mentioned in the past or something? Didnt find anything but maybe someone knows.

well, searched again, I found this post in which you can read a comment of the user called 'Feathered_IV' which is exactly the same I would love to see in the game.

Ju-52 wasn't planned from the get-go either, as far as I remember.  I have faith in the developers.  If there is a demand, there is a good chance it may show up in the future.

 

If it does, I'm on it.  If it doesn't, well it's still a fantastic game.

Chance of ever seeing it? I’ll say that depends entirely on how well the Po-2 sells, when it is released.

 

If you want to ever see the Storch, buy 10 copies of the Po-2, when it is available.

The Storch will eventually turn up I'm sure... just as sure that the Fw 189 will turn up at some stage. (Han had already replied to my post awhile ago that the 189 was a possibility)

No. Never. Just look at the Ju52. Four or five people were extremely vocal about it for years annoying the devs until they got their way. Now they were on the verge of bankruptcy because of wasted resources on Ju52 that nobody buys or flies! Just look at the horrible sales figures! What we need is more 109s and more Yaks! But mostly more 109s! If they waste time and resources on more useless planes, me and my 67 squad mates are quitting!

I remember devs said that they would rather make a plane that can defend itself so it would be fw189 and not Storch (tho it had single mg15).

 

It all depends on how well po2 will sell. But i think we would get fw189 first. And if these non combat planes would be selling very very good i am sure one day storch would come.

Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor is diffrent case. I think we just can't have 4 engine planes, but i am confused here, there was a lot of discussion about it but Fw200 could actually fly alone so you don't need to make huge bomber formations, this is why i think fw200 would be possible but question is, is there a point in making it? It would cost a loooooot, i bet price for buying it would be 30 maybe more $ as well. And for maps we have now, i don't think it would be that fun, you would fly it to pitomnik from Tatsinskaya (airfield most far away to the west). It would take you 45min each way while going 300km (360km max speed, 335km average speed, keep in mind you will have tons of supplies in there). I would say max 2h per mission, i am not sure if that would be so great for such a huge plane and how historical it would be to fly from Tatsinskaya and back. I think that plane would fly from big bases in germany? Poland? I don't really know but i doubt it was Tatsinskaya, 230km from pitomnik.

 

Edit: I think it would be cool to have fw200 as AI only plane, watch it comes off map, land in stalingrad, take off and go off map again. While you could escort it or simply find it flying around while you do your own things.

It was never said that the Ju-52 was a sales failure. They stated that sales figures were lower then hoped. Bearing in mind that the Po-2 is largely modeled by an 3rd party i think the risk is much lower. I think the use of 3rd party developers is fine for aircraft like this. I agree that team itself should focus on the main expansions.
