My Yak compass

Hi ,

Attached is an image of my instrument panel .the compass is missing and should  be straight ahead where that pad is , do i have to activate it or something ?

Move the camera position down and to the sides, you’ll be able to see it then.

here is what happens if i do that , how can i center the gunsight again shift f1 doesnt center it .

No "jugglery" is need, just press Numpad ',' + Numpad '0' for snap view to this compass, when release keys POV return to gunsight.

 

Numpad ',' + Numpad 1, 2... 8, 9 give you snap view for different instruments, like difficult to see fuel level in wings or engine instruments in engine nacelle of some planes.

since my second image i have not been able to bring it back to original setting image 1 , if i center using ( insert home delete page up and down )  the cross hair and i press later numpad 5 to center it goes back to second image , trying numpad 0 and plus sign sends me looking straight up . How can i get it back to original settings to try again with numpad 0 and plus sign ?
