Purchase il2 BOS in october of 2016 ON STEAM and had to refund it. re bought it today but i am unable to log in no matter what opening option i pick, i keep getting this error. someone please help. When i check my il2 account i have no keys activated and when i log in via steam it also says no keys activated

When you repurchased did you use the same account with as before? It could be you're trying to log in to the old account instead of the new one.

I've never purchased through Steam so I don't know how the license key activation works for that, but Im pretty sure your Il2 account should at least show a license key.

You should probably contact Il2 support, or Steam, or both to figure out what is going on.

if i try and buy the game from the IL2 website it says i already own it and can only buy it as a gift. but no keys activated and no way to find the steam key. this is bullshit on both parties.

Have you contacted support with your problem?  And when you redid the purchase, did you go through steam or through the web store?

ive sent multiple tickets but no response and yes i bought everything off of steam

Did you ever get an email giving you a license key that you had to register? Maybe you have to register it manually?

Steam doesnt show the cd keys anymore so i cant even d it manually. This website recognizes i have the game and im linked to steam but i cant play and it says i have no keys activated

Yeah, that's frustrating. It looks like il2sturmovik.com still wants you to add a game key that Steam doesn't send out anymore.

 

So both Steam AND il2sturmovik don't think you have a license key activated. The problem could be on either end. If you havent already, I would lodge a support ticket with Steam as well. Also search through your email junk folder - sometimes support responses from here go to junk mail. They do sometimes take a few days.

My only suggestion would be search through whatever purchase records, emails, etc you have from Steam or 1CGS to see if somewhere there is a key you can punch in on the il2sturmovik.com site. Other than that I think you'll have to wait for support to sort it out...or maybe someone more familiar with Steam-Il2 can offer their help on this post.

There's another ongoing thread with what seems like the exact same issue - purchased once, refunded, then-repurchased and now they get the #5 license key error. So the issue may be more than just yours, it may be a bug in how the system processes license keys or something.
