Bind mouse cursor to Joystick?

[40plus]

I have a Saitek x56 which has two little thumb sticks on it. I also play exclusively in VR. right now I have to keep a mouse nearby to control the menus in game. I'd love to be able to bind the mouse cursor to one of those thumb sticks and the click to my trigger. Does anyone know if this can be done?

 

I also can't figure out how to make those sticks aim the turret gunners.

I use software called "Universal Control Remapper".

 

With it you can do this, and so much more. Only downside is that it's one more thing you have to have running in the background while you fly. That being said, it hardly takes any of your PC's resources.
