Depends on the mission you want to create though, for example for the Bodenplatte attack, the G-14/AS were really common (the second most numerous 109 variant behind the normal G-14). And it isn't completely superior to the G-14 like for example the K-4 is, the AS is a compromise for better high alt performance in exchange of low altitude performance. At around 560 km/h at sea level it would be the slowest German fighter. Facing a Spit Mk XIV or +25 lb Mk IX would be pretty tough for it.
