Zabo Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 I prefer using Logitech's Extreme 3D Pro joysticks. The yaw axis input is not recognized by the game. That said with my Logitech FORCE 3D Pro the game does recognize yaw axis input??? Since several buttons on the FORCE 3D Pro are figidy, I've stopped using it. Is there a go around or is this the result of some :Bug" that I;m not aware of and hopefully these is some download to correct it? Flying is not the same without your rudder... Let me know if this can be fixed. Thank you for any help with this. Zabo
unreasonable Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Since I do not have that stick I can only make a general point that when I have changed controllers in the past I have sometimes had to delete and then rebind a setting in key-bindings to get the game to recognize the input. But if you have already done that I have no more ideas except the usual: check you have no conflicts on your yaw rebinding setting (the orange box IIRC). Good luck.
BB5000 Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Maybe the axis name needs to be added manually in the controls file ? I’m using the Logitech G25 pedals (combined axis) as rudder but the game only recognized the individual axis. I had something like ”joy5_AxisU” which had to be edited manually to ”joy5_AxisP” to work correctly. If the axis is not recognized at all by the game then this is probably not a solution.
