Troubleshooting Help

Hi everyone,

I recently got the T.16000M and I don't like the button layout on the joystick or how there is no thumb button for my cannons, so I unplugged it and am trying to use my old Extreme 3D Pro as the stick instead. I wanted to get it to work alongside the T.16000M throttle but when I go into IL2 and try to remap the buttons back to my Logitech, it won't accept any of the keybinds.

I checked the Logitech in properties using a functions check and it's reading the device. I think maybe IL2 is trying to pull up the Thrustmaster joystick when I want it to recognize the Logitech. The Thrustmaster throttle is still being recognized by the game. I had no issues with the Logitech until today when I tried out the Thrustmaster stick.

Every time I log into the game it asks me if I want to change the keybind format from the T16000M back to the Logitech, but when I go to try to rebind the buttons to my Logitech, it won't even register that I'm pressing them.

Any thoughts?

Salutations,

What do you mean no T16000m thumb button for your cannons? See image below.

Thanks guys, I solved it

A reinstall fixed my issue, it is now correctly reading both controllers

Thad, I meant by thumb cannon that the Logitech has a small grey button exactly where your thumb rests while you fly, with the other controller you have to move your thumb over to the button to use it. I was also not a fan of how far you can rotate the stick, I'm a weirdo that likes a stiff spring. I know a lot of people here like the T.16000M but after using my Logitech for so long I've gotten really comfortable with it.

The throttler is sweet though

Glad you solved the situation.

Actually I have both and prefer the layout, feel and look of the 3D Extreme but the better sensors and a greater number of buttons of the T16000m tipped things in its' favor for me. :salute:
