La-5 FN skins

Topic for all your selfmade skins for the La-5 FN!

 

 

 

I'll start this off with a captured La-5 F, in the use of the Luftwaffe.

As you can see the red stars have been roughly painted over.

The skin is aviable with swastika and without, I personally don't need it, but some of you might want the extra realism.

There's no chipping on the yellow paint since it must be fairly fresh 

 

I hope to see many other skins here in the future

latest available at M4T . the 7 late war flies with the 5 model . All previous releases now sport the AMT12 dark grey camo scheme . links follow very soon .

WIP skin for Captain  Georgii Dmitrievich Kostylev's LA-5, had it been remade/re-painted for an LA-5FN. The star and medal markings are not yet applied, but might just leave them out.

Originaly, the template is from Zargos but I've completely reworked it (even the alpha layers were reworked, one per skin)

It my first skinpack for great battle and I'm discovering its specificities. I've used some of the stuff I've learnt from skinning for Il2 1946

So I'm looking for a couple LA5FN skins i saw on steam, posted by user pwxinjob. Can't find them on HSD, and I'm not seeing recent skins posted on the forum. Does anyone recognize these or is there some other place to find textures I'm missing? Or maybe its the new LA5F but n that case its also not on HSD

These are Official skins found in game for La-5F not FN.

The top one-02 is Onufrienko.

Bottom one-40 is Belyasnik.

Aha, my mistake! I don't have the F and haven't encountered it yet, so not familiar with any visual differences. Thanks for clearing that up

(The skin is not detailed yet, it's just a trial version to see how it will look in Il 2. Maybe someday I'll make a finishing version.)
