Manually deleting a pilot career?

I have a glitch ridden pilot career I want to eliminate.I’ve tried to re-start it & deleting it in game with no luck.Can I find it in a game folder & delete it there? If so which folder would it be in? Thanks!

Choose career to open up all careers you have going. Select the one you want to delete and hit the delete box.

 

Edit, whoops sorry it appears you have already tried this option?

 

I am not a home so can’t check in game but have you tried the pc find file option?

The only files in the data/Career folder is a single database file and a sql file (whatever that is) so no career-pilot specific folder unfortunately.  I have no idea if these are generated anew each time you start the career for the first time: they are there before you start your first career so maybe not, but you could try deleting them after backing them up and saving them and see if that reinitializes the files.  I only have one career on the go currently - presumably even if this method works you would then lose all your career information for every career.

 

Otherwise you may be in for a reinstallation.
