game freeze issues

hi,

My rig is as follows , I7 3.4 gig  ,nvidia 1060 , 6 gig ram ,  16 gig free ram , windows 7 64 bit pro ,  my game is freezing quite frequently in game for maybe half a second each time and the mission is not cluttered , FPS very good . I  have not fooled around with the Graphics card  , its  default . Any guidance would be appreciated .
