Help needed from new product support

For approximately three weeks I have been trying to obtain guidance from 1CGS on the new products and how to access my order backlog.

1) Bodenplatte

Each time I attempt to download this product/campaign, I obtain a download for Battle of Moscow.  Why is this? Is Bodenplatte a campaign product independent from BOM/BOS?

2) Flying Circus

Each time I try to download an installer for this new game, I receive a download for Battle of Moscow.  Why is this?  Is Flying Circus an standalone product? How can I access it fully?

3) General backlog

How can I download other items I have on backlog such as airplane collections or campaigns which I have recently purchased.

The first thing you have to understand is that every game title available for purchase here, except Cliffs of Dover Blitz, is actually just one gigantic game. Any title you purchase contains all the content and downloads it to your machine. Your account accesses the server and unlocks the planes you have actually paid for.

So if the installer says "Battle of Moscow" its doesn't matter. Because you access all the content from a single game.

If you install "Battle of Moscow", it will install all the content. When you open the game, you will have access only to what you have purchased. So if you have purchased Bodenplatte and Flying Circus, you will have access to the early access content available now, and a few free maps (the Bodenplatte map isnt ready yet).

I see from your ribbons that you are a pre-order customer for all the other games, so I'm wondering why this is causing you trouble . If you have the other games installed, you don't have to download anything. The launcher keeps you up to date, and as soon as you activate your product keys under your account the game will let you fly the early access Flying Circus and Bodenplatte planes. Im not familiar with Flying Circus but the available planes are the FW-190 A-8, the Spit Mk IX and the Bf-109G-14.

So maybe launch Battle of Stalingrad (or however you normally access the game) and check the QMB to see if you can fly one of the early access planes? And also check your account here to make sure you have the new products registered and activated. Hope this helps.

I was extremely puzzled by the same thing when I bought Kuban as the only product of the franchise I was interested in and yet the website was pointing me to "Stalingrad" installer for some reason :D. Took me quite a few minutes to realize that despite its name, it's just a one, generic installer for everything over here, even if you don't purchase the actual Stalingrad scenario itself.

I suppose I'm not the only newcomer, who stumbled upon this peculiarity at first. I think the website could/should be more clear about how the products get downloaded and activated, but then, we don't even have a functional official link for the game manual, so I guess that's just how these guys work.

So, to sum up - Marquis, you already have everything on your PC, some parts of it are just locked. If you activated your purchases correctly, there's nothing to download, just launch the game and the content you're looking for will appear there.

Both Bodenplatte and Flying Circus products have not been released, both are still being developed at this time.  What you paid for, with a discount, is a  prerelease purchase.  As the products are developed and released you will then have access.  Right now there are 2 planes are available from Bodenplatte and  Flying Circus products that you can fly on any map that you have purchased using the quick mission feature.

I thank everyone for the clarifications.  I saw the linkage with DCS, but could not figure out the mechanics.  I shall ensure that my product keys are activated and live in hope....

Nothing to figure out. Just start the game and enjoy. Your content will all be there.
