montag Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Hi I am sorry if there already is one posted somewhere but I cannot find any kind of release schedule. Just a general timeline would be nice to see. 1
Sotka94 Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Hi! Nothing has been announced so far I'm afraid, I would really like to see a timeline as well. Got a plane you are especially looking forwards to? ?
montag Posted August 16, 2018 Author Posted August 16, 2018 Okay thank you for letting me know. At least I can stop searching. I actually know very little about WWI aviation. I read one book about Richthofen, but it wasn't about the aircraft.
Sotka94 Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 To best keep up with the news on Il-2 (apart from announcements on these forums, of course), I'd always recommend ShamrockOneFives's sweet flight sim blog: https://stormbirds.blog/
Bracher Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Agree, I'd like to know more of a schedule too. It's a high price to be left completely in the dark. Even a very rough one would be nice.
Thad Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Salutations, You paid for 'early access' to the modules equipment assets as they are completed by the developers and made available.
Zooropa_Fly Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 To be fair I think the Devs are pretty good at letting us know what's giong on. Developer Diaries and such..
Hellshade_68 Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Even if we don't follow the devs posts, I presume that once they release a plane or feature for Early Access, it will simply show up for use in the menu for those of us with EA.
Zooropa_Fly Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 You'll notice the game updating as you're waiting for it to open... potential excitement ahead !
Thad Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 (edited) [edited] He was smart enough to delete the post before I saw it. Do not answer people that way, not here. Haash Edited August 29, 2018 by SYN_Haashashin
GrinderX9 Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 I'm really happy that Rise of flight are being ported into the IL2 game. To be able to play ROF in VR are beyond unbelievable and cool. Of course, the price are equably unbelievable, and that only for a fraction of the content of ROF. And I guess we have to pay that price 3-4 times more before we have all the content. If they had to remake all the content, that would have been another matter, but its almost just a reskin job. Correct me if I'm wrong on that. But no matter, I guess the company need the money, if it helps them making more great content for this sim, I see no problem and pay gladly. The only think that makes me wonder, are how long it takes. Do the reskin job Take this much time? No I don't think so. I guess its more of a business plan, to spread the income evenly thought the year. Or something like that. But if that are true, it also means that there are a very planed timetable, and the only thing I and the rest of you really ask for, Is that timetable. So devs, plz give us that much at least
ShamrockOneFive Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I decided I should create a release tracker on the blog so this is what we know about major content release: https://stormbirds.blog/product-roadmaps/flying-circus-vol-1-product-roadmap/ It's unfortunately not much. We have two types now and the Pfalz D.IIIa and Sopwith Camel are next. We'll see what happens after that. 1
