Game freeze and hard restart

So I am just getting into the game and find that I can sit on the runway and mess with settings or my head tracking for as long as I want but shortly after takeoff the game will freeze and my PC will become unresponsive. I will still have audio for a bit and can hear my plain crash. All I can do is hard restart my PC. The problem remains regardless of game settings.

There is no error message that I can find after a reboot.

 

System info attached and I am running the Steam version of the game.

I also use OpenTrack and JoyToKey running at the same time.
