Green Chromatic Aberration on White painted parts

I did quite a few searches using several different terms, like glow and flare as well as chromatic aberration, but found nothing on the forum or externally so thought I'd just ask a quick question in regards to does anyone else get the occasional green chromatic aberration to white or very to near white painted parts on aircraft in high glare situations?

Never paid too much attention about those, but I think I have them too.

Yup, have them too. Not being a fan of overdone hollywood'ish bloom effects in games I've just decided to turn off HDR - will see later if that removes that issue.

You may just be on to something, I had a few spare nano seconds before heading off to work this morning and so switched off the HDR to see if it made any difference, and my initial impression is that the chromatic aberration has gone, although I still need to confirm this properly by re-parking the plane in the same orientation to the sun as it was when I took the original screen grab posted above to be certain, something I simply did not have time to do this morning.

So I will do this when I get home, which sadly is still few hours off yet.

Same time of day, same location (more or less) and same orientation to the sun......

Now will need to take it for a spin to see if there are any other notable consequences with having HDR switched off.
