Will not let me proceed to next campaign

I flew the moscow campaign until january 42 when my unit was recalled. I clicked on end career for now and it won't let me proceed to Stalingrad in career mode with my pilot. The game just freezes when i hit proceed. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure, because you have already managed to get further than I have, but I think perhaps you should have, maybe you still can click on the HQ tab and request transfer to another unit ?

 

I don't think you can go from one campaign to another until a campaign reaches a chronological end (Guess on my part)

I had the same problem and have reported it as a bug most likely introduced with 3.005 a-c patch. So that means as of now at least 3 folks have this problem.

A little detail; the Moscow Campaign  ends at mid April 1942  not end January 1942 at least if like me you fly for a Mig 3 squadron. Is this the Reason you cannot change campaign?! Maybe.

The end date is listed as the 20th of April 1942, though.

Thanks for all the suggestions; I've come to the conclusion that it must be a bug. Any way to bypass this or correct the problem would be much appreciated as I put a lot of time in developing my character.

I got the same bug, but alreadfy when I changed into the last attack (3rd part of Bom).

The "wheel" keeps on turning, but I do not proceed to the next day.

 

I do not suppose it depends on the date directly, but when you change to a new chapter maybe?

I hope this can be fixed without loosing progress.

 

edit: after attempting to reload the "next mission" several times, the campaign moved on to its next day.
