Did anyone check out or get screenshots of that steam/vapor when over heating the motor?  It looked fricken AMAZING.  Now imagine at think black oily smoke and it trailing on and on behind a doomed aircraft.  Holy crap..  Thats going to be awesome!

 

No need to imagine, you just need to be merciless with your equipment.  When it starts making expensive noises, just keep on doin' what you are doin'.

Was following an AI plane taxiing to the ramp.. and damn those barrels! Who placed them there  :ph34r:  Still, the way the wing parts flew off on the prop wash was impressive!

I am just WOWED by the screenshots and vids. Everything looks so immersive; the shaking cockpit and plane vibrations, lighting, reflections, just wow!

Amazing Screenies,

 

Are you using Sweet FX or something and are you using a specific capture software? 

 

The PrintScreen within the game never gave me such gorgeous screens (and the printscreen only gives BMP files).... 

 

You have a trick for sure :)

I capture them in game with print screen. No tricks. :biggrin:  I'm not a fan of sweet FX or any other post processing injections. I used it  a short time for antialiasing, but gave up. the colors and effects are not generated by the game dynamically, but  are just filters dropped over the frame after is rendered. Most of the time, the effect doesn't match what's happening in the game. 

 

I saved those shots  with print screen and are saved as .bmp in game.  .bmp is the best quality you can get them, but you have to convert them to something else because the files are too big to post online. For example that last shot is 14megs as bitmap fresh saved by the game.

 

To post them online you have to convert them to other kind of files. Jpg is the most common one, but it blows. It's popular because it has a very aggressive compression and the file size ends up very small. Most of the beauty is lost in the compression though.

 

I converted those to PNG in Photoshop. That last file is 2.32 megs and it looks just as good as the 14megs .bmp the game saved. :salute:

 

Most sites won't let you post that big file size, but the site suggested by  Uufflakke,  postimg.org does. :)  the only trick is that you have to click on it to see the full resolution. still worth it. :)

 I got this today before they closed it. Forgot they close it at Moscow time. I should have let the game running.   :lol:

 

This 109 is going to be murder incorporated. :o:
