Portents: An IL-2 Battle of Kuban Video

Asked my wife if she'd gotten me anything for my upcoming birthday. Looking ashamed she said "No." I joyfully shouted "Yes!" and now am a happy new purchaser of both Battle of Kuban and Bodenplatte. The Kuban map is so beautiful to fly after the flat steppes of Stalingrad and Moscow that it inspired this very short video contrasting the joy of flying with the terror of combat.

Interesting way to mix serenity and calamity; 720p is too soft for me.

Yeah, agreed. My native screen resolution is 1680x1050 so I rendered at that resolution and YouTube only gave it a max of 720p on upload. If I want to keep that aspect ratio, it would be 1728x1080. Maybe I'll try re-rendering at that resolution and then upload again.
