Career mode

Here's another queery:

When the full FC is released, I assume it will have an offline career mode as the other titles do.

In the other titles, it mentions in some of the pilot biography that they were pilots in the first world war. Does anyone know if it will be possible to complete an FC career and the continue with the same character into the second world war careers?

Just thought it would be a cool idea if it did. ( or will).

I second your motion.  See Theo Osterkamp, for example.  (Not that there are too many but there are a few.)  I would really like to be able to run a career through both wars.  But, I'm sure the devs know this would be cool and they'll interconnect the whole career system.  Even Korea...  (Ok, that's probably too much.)

Jason said that career mode won't be done for this first volume, sorry. If everythig goes well it may it see the light at volunme 2. Note that the WWII career mode still a WiP so its also make sense to wait for it to be complete and then port it to WWI.

 

Hopefully it's not too hard for Pat to also include FC in this PWCG so SP careers can be done meanwhile.

The WW1 pilot biography is a fan-written text made in homage to RoF and other WW1 sims and accepted into the game. It wasn't made as part of larger plan.

 

But when I use this bio in WW2, I use names and birthdays from my complete RoF carreers as continuation.

 

Like Haash said, WW1 career mode will not be invluded in FC1. I really hope Pat will fill that gap.

I would bet that we will be playing PWCG campaigns before we see anything official... 'Go Pat Go!'
