Trek64Trek64 Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Okay, so I bought Flying Circus. But when I go into the game I see Flying Circus in the red box in upper right hand corner, at the bottom of the list of IL2 modules I have accumulated since buying the first game (Stalingrad) about two weeks ago or less. But when I go into Quick Misson I only see two WWI planes: a Spad and a Fokker DR Tri-Wing airplane. Where are all of the other planes listed in the description for this module in the online store? Also, is there a WWI map, and how do I get to it? Should I have to download and install Flying Circus Vol.1?

So you have access to the content as it comes out. The WWI map is not ready yet, and so far there are only the two planes available. You will have access to the planes and the map as they are released. The early access for BoK, BoBp etc. worked that way as well.
-TBC-AeroAce Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 I said this for TC. If you do not read the fourm the store does not tell you what is currently available. It just says what the end product is, that it is early access and that content will be available as it is ready. They devs need to put as disclaimer saying what is currently available IMO.
Trek64Trek64 Posted August 10, 2018 Author Posted August 10, 2018 (edited) Aha... thanks for the clarification. Pretty expensive for only two planes and no map. I wondered exactly what Early Access really meant. Now I know. No worries. I want to support the developers. When the remaining content comes out, how will I know it is available, and how will I get it? Edited August 10, 2018 by Trek64Trek64 1
Thad Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Yea, one would think a person would investigate what they were purchasing beforehand. ? 1

Check the forums for Developer Diaries to see what's coming.
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Crispy Christ... I've never spent $60-$70 without first reading and being aware of what I was purchasing. 2

In case not, here's a link: https://il2sturmovik.com/store/flying-circus/ When new content comes, I'm pretty sure there would be some kind of patch and corresponding update from Jason... I bought a 75K Jaguar SUV before the first one was ever built, before there was even a photograph of the model. I put down a deposit and signed the papers. It has turned out to be the most enjoyable driving car in my six decades on this planet. It's awesome. And I did read the entire description in the store. It does not say there are only two planes and no map if you buy early access. I can wait. I waited for my car as an "early adopter" and was thrilled when it arrived from across the pond.
