ACG Moves to the Eastern Front

ACG has finished it's final mission in it's BoB campaign and is now moving over to the Eastern Front using the BoX engine.

 

For those of you who aren't aware, ACG are a WW2 simulation group who set out to recreate the experience of being a WW2 fighter pilot. We fly missions every Sunday and aim to closely recreate missions that actually took place.

 

We are looking for keen pilots to join our ranks in either flying for the Luftwaffe or the VVS in our new campaign.

 

For those of you asking what makes ACG different to other servers or groups, we focus on realism. When flying in campaign you take the role of a pilot. You will follow this pilot throughout their flying career earning medals for your actions such as kills, sorties flown, etc. Once shot down however, you will fly as a new pilot and start off from the beginning. We do not focus on ranks and you will not move squadron/staffel once shot down. You will however become much more attached to your pilot unlike air-quake type servers.

So now you take our glorious Hurricane pilots and put them into the winged lawnmowers called I-16s to be even more manly while drinking industrial solvents (aka Vodka) instead of proper tea and Badger's Bollocks?

 

Half-tempted to sign up again should RL settle down:P Will be a while still though.

From my experience how ACG campaign were managed ,it was pleasure to be part of that big system. Unfortunately it ended prematurely. I think  I would like to try it again on Eastern front some day.

Seeing as how the NFL is persona non grata in this house, Sunday at 1100am I've got nothing better to do,  would love to get in a big flight of Pe-2's and blow something up.
