unreasonable Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 If you play iron man and you are killed the game retains no record of your pilot's stats. He is entered on the unit history as dead, zero kills, zero flying hours. (This may be true for non-iron man as well, FAIK). Ideally the pilot should have a log book which records missions details - like RoF's - which should be copied to the player's PC as a record. At the very least the career unit history should record the basic statistics for dead pilots rather than erasing them.
Wilhelm_Heidkamp Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 My game doesn't erase statistics from dead pilots in career mode (ironman enabled)...
unreasonable Posted August 6, 2018 Author Posted August 6, 2018 It does not erase statistics from dead AI pilots: that is not what I am talking about. The issue is the player pilot: having been killed I exited the game. Later I went back in to collect the data to put into an external file to compare with future efforts: the pilot was still listed in the unit history but as zero kills and flying hours. The AI pilots in the unit were all still listed.
