e9000es Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Hi I submitted a support ticket two weeks ago and haven't even had a reply to say they've received my message. I need to change the email associated with my account pls. As I'm waiting for this to be resolved before I buy the new early access modules I would have thought someone would care about this. Thanks
Thad Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 How in the world did you lose your e-mail account? Your game account is tied to it. Without it you can't access the game or your profile. ? One can change the password but not the e-mail data. Anybody have any ideas what he can do?
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 He may have tied it to a work email and is changing jobs - or some analog of this scenario. Support can be slow at times but they will get back to you. All of my games, regardless of platform, are tied to a single generic email for this exact reason. Use a public email; gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc for this purpose so you never risk losing it in the future.
e9000es Posted August 5, 2018 Author Posted August 5, 2018 Yeah I've changed isp so I've moved everything to my gmail account, this is the only account I've had any issue with. Seems strange that they don't even have a automated response to say they received the ticket... do any support staff read these forums? Thanks.
Dakpilot Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 Currently they are short staffed due to national summer holidays. There are also two larger than normal issues support is dealing with ; the FC promo code confusion and recent steam key problem. I would guess these three factors are contributing to your inconvenience. Unfortunately patience and perhaps re submitting are the only solution Cheers, Dakpilot
