KatieLuna Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 I'm not talking "laser bullets", or "7.62 with explosive damage of a 30mm Minengeschoss", I'm looking more towards purposefully damaging specific parts of the airframe, to see how it reacts. Disconnecting a control cable, snapping off part of the wing or a stabiliser, or damaging the engine systems, and seeing how the airframe reacts to the damage. One of my most enjoyable parts of this game is limping back to base on nothing but pure luck, and getting a "walk away" landing. So I'd love to see some way to do this put in game, as I am extremely interested in damaged aircraft, more so than perfect flying condition ones! I'd also be very helpful for me to break off landing gear doors and land the aircraft upside-down to look at the mechanisms in action in game, as I have found they are impressively well modeled from the few times I have been able to take the time to look at them! 4
[APAF]VR_Spartan85 Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 I suppose you’re suggesting a “scheduled” or “ random failures” option?

No I'm looking for a menu where I can pause the game, go into it and select, say, the gear leg of my He111, and select and option to break off the doors, or the wheel, or the entire structure, then unpause and have that happen. Ok I see now, that would be kinda fun and cool to see each and every fault the aircraft can have... sounds like a debugging tool... 1
