Also running Win 10. I have the "Full Screen" Option selected. I've found that alt-tabbing can be a bit finicky sometimes, but I can always get it to work after a few tries.

Sometimes, I have to alt-tab, then ill have a black screen with my taskbar at the bottom. If this happens, I have to make sure to use alt-tab again to get to where I want to go. If I click on the taskbar, I'm sent back to IL2.

Sometimes, alt-tab flashes the screen black, then goes right back to IL2. If this happens, the thing that always works for me is to to the following:

Alt-tab out, but only release the tab key, keep holding alt. Then, while still holding alt, press tab again after the screen flashes and brings you back to IL2. This time, I am able to get out of IL2.

Untick full screen option in graphics settings. Works no problem after.

I don't run the game in fullscreen and have the same issues, when Alt+Tabbing from the game to PWCG. I pretty much everytime need several tries until it works and even more tries, if I want to use the taskbar, but I never get a black screen.

If you have something open already besides il2 it makes alt tabbing easier.

I've had an issue for months since updating to Windows 10 where alt-tabbing out works fine, but getting back in freezes the game completely for 3-4 minutes, which is absolutely maddening. No issues in RoF, and it wasn't an issue until win10. Hardly the same problem but alt-tab and windows 10 aren't great buddies it'd seem.

Did you try both ways to go back, Alt+Tab and clicking on the icon in the taskbar?

I think it is the same problem, just different ways to show up. Something not working proper in Win10.

Aye, I have tried every conceivable way and permutation as well as dozens of 'fixes'. It remains broken, although only for IL2.

What happens when you tap Ctrl+Alt+Del and open up the Task Manager. Can you then go to Team Speak?

LEAVE a folder open on the desktop and then you can alt tab to it.
You need something to alt tab to (specially if you on single screen)

This.

If you forgot to open anything before launching, just press the windows key to ahow the task bar, and open anything. Then you can alt tab.

Unfortunately it is not quite that easy. PWCG is, of course, always open, when I am flying a mission of it. But I always need several tries to get back to it when Alt+Tabbing out of the game.
