Skipper- Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 (edited) 1. Can I set default mission altitudes, so that I do not have to manually set every mission? 2. Why can't I see the descriptions of the advanced settings like in Requiem's tutorial video (link here and screenshot below )? Edited August 3, 2018 by Skipper-
PatrickAWlson Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 The descriptions now display when you hover over the parameter name.
Skipper- Posted August 3, 2018 Author Posted August 3, 2018 (edited) Thanks, didn't spot that. Is there any way to make the middle section with the numbers shrink and enlarge dynamically according to the window size? Edited August 4, 2018 by Skipper-
Skipper- Posted August 4, 2018 Author Posted August 4, 2018 I figured out how to fix the UI to 1920x1080 but how do I set standard altitudes? I cannot find that it in any of the config files. Thanks
Yogiflight Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 There are no standart altitudes, AFAIK, the altitudes differ depending on the aircraft type and mission type. For example, for fighters you have high altitude patrols from 3k upwards, and low altitude patrols in around 1500m. But it is not like in the game's career mode, where you are always flying the same altitudes. Which is in my opinion the much better way, as the IL career mode completely misses flexibility. You are flying missions in the clouds, where it doesn't make any sense. In PWCG the missions are usually below or at least 1k above thick clouds, and if they are not, you can customize your mission altitude. However sometimes the clouds altitude changes then, too.
PatrickAWlson Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 What Yogi said. Altitudes are in a range, a wide range for fighter patrols, a very narrow one for dive bombers, etc.
