bigmike20vt Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Hi If I buy the retail version of battle of stalingrad (what can I say I like a box) and it comes with a poster, manual and keyboard overlay..... is it the deluxe or the base game? I assume it will come with a key to activate here so will get all the updates and what not that the digital version gets, and i do not need the disk to play or anything? Thanks (ps i did search the site but no answer found)
InProgress Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Box game is for steam. If you buy real game on dvd you will need steam for it. It's base i guess, it would say it's delux on box if it would be.
Godspeed Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 (edited) Retail Box was Standard even in the back text says that you can buy two collector planes separately. Edited August 3, 2018 by Godspeed
bigmike20vt Posted August 3, 2018 Author Posted August 3, 2018 Thanks for the info.. that is great but I didn't have it at the time to look at the box. It turned up an HR ago so got it now. I didn't think I would buy a boxed pc game again. Last one was 2014. I do like a box and manual.
Mac_Messer Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 I started from box edition too. It`s the standard edition. Just be aware that the printed manual is largely outdated now. 1
