ATA_Vasilij Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Hi all, I have a problem with Virpil T50. I know how to calibrate this, all axis in zero and when going to fly BOS the plane is flying staedy , no deviations. Than when finnishing the flight and starting again (even the same map) the joystick is not centered and plane is rolling to the left or to the right. I have to close the game and to do recalibration of the joystick. Sometimes the usage is OK for whole evening, sometimes it brokes 5x times per evening. Please give me some advice. Thanks a lot.
dburne Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 You are calibrating with the Virpil software right? Something definitely sounds not right there. I would send an email to support@virpil.com.
ATA_Vasilij Posted August 2, 2018 Author Posted August 2, 2018 yeah, with virpil software. Yes, I can write them to the support.
1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I don't use any virpil software , meybe I shuld but I never had problem with it automatic self windows calibration. Try contact the support.

In Devices and Printers in Control Panel, select VPC Mongoos T-50 and right click - choose Game Controller Settings. Highlight the VPC Mongoose T-50, right click and select Game Controller Settings. Go to the Setting tab and select "Reset to Default". Once done, go back in the Virpil software and calibrate again. ( do not ever try to calibrate in Windows). Edit: Also do you have any other controllers hooked up that might possibly be conflicting? Edited August 2, 2018 by dburne
ATA_Vasilij Posted August 3, 2018 Author Posted August 3, 2018 yeah I have also Thrustmaster 1600X Joy+throttle lever joined to the PC. I am using Virpil as a joy and throttle lever from Thrustmaster for throttle. Do you thing they can be in conflict? that I have two joys attached? your advice I will try ...
SCG_Fenris_Wolf Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Didn't they state explicitly not to use the Windows calibration? The hardware of other ports does not interfere, no worries. Anyway, I'd contact the Virpil support. They will show you how to use the Virpil software. They have de facto the best support of any hardware manufacturer. It's the reason I'll get their very expensive throttle as well. ?? You can contact them via Facebook, or via the E-Mail stated before. Just remember, the week-end has begun, you may or may not have to wait till monday. If you're lucky you get support today. Write them immediately. Good luck! ?

Are you by chance using TARGET with a profile for the TM stick and throttle? If so try it without running TARGET - just assign the throttle directly in game.
ATA_Vasilij Posted August 5, 2018 Author Posted August 5, 2018 Dear friends, the problem has been solved. I had to open the base and find the screw for the roll axis. He was NOT tightened !Afters tightening everything now works fine. A user DEX*GD*Dexter gave me this advice bcs he has the same problem. Also technical support from Virpil suggested the same point. I just have a question, the joy was not cheap, and such technical maintenance after a month of usage?.... Jesus, is there at least one man on the planet who knos how to make things with quality? Or are we supposed to be paying huge money for poor products??? GRRRR
SCG_Fenris_Wolf Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 It's a product you're supposed to open and "screw around" with ? It's better than VKB's issue where screws would simply break and then you'd be stranded without support.
69th_Panp Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 It's a known issue with the Virpil stick, I had it also! Problem with Virpil is they use too much locktight on the cam screws and not enough on the magnet bolts for the x and y axis. Sounds like they need a better quality control program
