Flamboyant_Flamingo Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Thanks for putting this together. I'm been trying to deal with the 109 and it's heat soak problems after fights by trying to get all the temps down, but I hadn't been able to figure out why I couldn't find an oil cooler manual control...seems like the modeling isn't there.
1CGS LukeFF Posted August 1, 2018 1CGS Posted August 1, 2018 The only 109 with manual oil radiator control is the E-7.

Flamboyant_Flamingo Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 (edited) Oil temp gauge should still work. And if there's manual control then the "computer" should be modulating the outlet appropriately to keep temps out of the danger zone. I can only imagine the issues that will exist when the K-4 shows up and people start howling on the forums about blowing the engine with oil overheats. Edited August 2, 2018 by woodrowwilson_pr
E69_geramos109 Posted August 21, 2018 Author Posted August 21, 2018 They anounced that they are back from hollydays so lets see if they can have a look to the pm I sent some weeks ago. 1
spitfirejoe Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 So what was the answer now for that oil Radiator Problem.? Since the Oil Radiator is controlled automatically by a themrmostate on a Bf-109 I just would hope it works flawless as an original and I would like to have the Option "to push" that button to check the Oil temperature.
