Hi, first of all, I wanted to thank you for the new "career" mode. I bought the game (BOS, BOM, Kuban), last year and I hardly played it because I disliked the single player options and I was not that good for multiplayer

So, I like to fly realistically, I play custom difficulty with no map updates and all realistic plane controls and engine management. I however, can't see a thing, really; couldn't follow my wing leader, to the point that I stopped playing because how frustrating this was unless I turn on object markers; so in my settings I have object marker and instrument panel on; this last one instrument panel, I keep it with 10% HUD visibility to make it close to invisible. I also set a key mapping in my pad for it so I can turn markers "on" only when I am lost

So here comes the question, is there a way of making object markers less descriptive? I would love to just see a dot or that inverted triangle, I would like to disable the name/ plane model, distance and change the color coding to neutral; all grey, no blue/ red

maybe there is a config file that can be changed?

thanks

Ahemm.......

Hi Jorge,  I understand exactly what you want mean.  It would be great if they were scaleable but it seems - at the moment - for single play the icon system is all or nothing.

I have hopes that this might be something that could be modded......:salute:

OK, good to know, hopefully it might be added to the "wishlist". specially now that "career mode" has become interesting

In the meantime, I will keep that toggle in my joystick, who knows maybe later I will feel proficient enough to go "blind mode"
