Jorge_S Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 (edited) Hi, first of all, I wanted to thank you for the new "career" mode. I bought the game (BOS, BOM, Kuban), last year and I hardly played it because I disliked the single player options and I was not that good for multiplayer So, I like to fly realistically, I play custom difficulty with no map updates and all realistic plane controls and engine management. I however, can't see a thing, really; couldn't follow my wing leader, to the point that I stopped playing because how frustrating this was unless I turn on object markers; so in my settings I have object marker and instrument panel on; this last one instrument panel, I keep it with 10% HUD visibility to make it close to invisible. I also set a key mapping in my pad for it so I can turn markers "on" only when I am lost So here comes the question, is there a way of making object markers less descriptive? I would love to just see a dot or that inverted triangle, I would like to disable the name/ plane model, distance and change the color coding to neutral; all grey, no blue/ red maybe there is a config file that can be changed? thanks Edited July 30, 2018 by Jorge_S

DD_Arthur Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Ahemm....... Hi Jorge, I understand exactly what you want mean. It would be great if they were scaleable but it seems - at the moment - for single play the icon system is all or nothing. I have hopes that this might be something that could be modded......
Jorge_S Posted July 30, 2018 Author Posted July 30, 2018 OK, good to know, hopefully it might be added to the "wishlist". specially now that "career mode" has become interesting In the meantime, I will keep that toggle in my joystick, who knows maybe later I will feel proficient enough to go "blind mode"
