dxgi error

Hello everybody

 

After to have purchased the tank crew early access i got suddendly the folowing error message

 

DX renderer 11.end frame // DXGI error device removed (0x887 a0005)

 

Any Idea what that should be ?

got the same thing yesterday on FC.  Nobody could hear me on TS.   Took forever to get out of the game.

From my personal experience, IL-2 seems to be overly sensitive to any GPU overclocking, causing it to throw a DXGI error or something similar at the most inopportune moment, usually when I have just reached the target area after a long journey or I have the enemy in my sights?. It could be just a coincidence, but when I zero all overclocking values I see much less of this.

I'm also having what may be the same d3d error and the same 'device removed' message. It typically happens when I open the in-game map. My video card (1080 ti) is not over-clocked, but my PC's CPU currently is. This started about the time of the 3.05 update. Perhaps I should lower my PC's over-clock and test. Hmmm. My only other thought is my video driver. I tried updating to the latest version and that didn't help either. Neither did a game re-install.
