Salutations,

 

I am curious as to why there is no Tiger tank available for AI control in single player missions? Disappointed. ?

 

Also, are Tigers AI controlled in coop or multiplayer missions online?

I've only just started messing with the editor for the tanks, and it seems that any of the playable tanks won't do anything if you set it for AI. For example if i choose model t34-76-43 and tell it to spawn and go to a waypoint etc, it will do everything perfectly. However if i tell it to use model _t34-76stz (the playable one) it will spawn, but not move to waypoints. Same thing happened when I used model _kv1s.

The Kv1s is available as an AI and there is a player version. The Tiger has no AI version to use. ?

Just wondering why a AI Tiger wasn't included.

Oh I see what you are saying, so there is no alternative to the _pzvi-h1 model, and the _pzvi-h1 in the editor can't be used for AI. Yeah that's not good at all there should definately be a model we can use for AI Tigers ?

Yes. It seems you can't make this tiger use AI, or the other playable tank models (where the model name starts with _, like _pzvi-h1 or _kvs1). You have to use the other models. What Thad is saying is there is only 1 tiger model in the editor so we don't have a choice. In short, we can't make missions with AI controlled Tiger tanks in them at the moment.

I can give each object an MCU, but you're correct in the fact that the MCU's do not trigger. I wonder if the underscore means that it's a placeholder until they develop more MCUs for tank logic.

The vehicle underscore currently indicates a player drivable version of the vehicle?

Can you please help me, I do not have the playable Tiger (_pzvi-h1) and KV1 in the Mission Editor although I own "Tank Crew". 

What do I have to do to get them? I downloaded custom made single Player missions and when I open them in the Editor the Tiger is there...

Have you tried resetting the mission editor with the resetmissioneditor.exe app (in the mission editor folder)?

Can you take a picture of where you expect the playable tiger to appear in your mission editor?

GREAT, THANK YOU SO MUCH! That solved it! I have no idea what I "resetted" since I havent used the Mission Editor before (today first steps taken…), but it worked. I guess whenever there is a big update I have to reset it again?

Not normally, but if shit isn't working right, that's the first step... "Did you turn it off and on again?"

Thank you so much. Sadly, I got stuck already, because I cannot link objects most of the time. Mouse click is just ignored, but the "Object"-mouse Symbol remains so I cannot do anything else. The "Find Object" button also doesnt offer me any objects (although they are there). I just posted this in a new thread because I just got totally stuck now.
