I need to link my Steam account with this Profile

I bought BoS some days ago and it doesn't start. No reaction. Somebody told me I need to register here and link my Steam account with Profile here. I registered with the same email address I use on Steam platform. Now there is a problem, because I didn't register via Steam option here. As I registered the Profile here once, I need to tell my License Key which is unknown for me, because I didn't get any License Key while buying BoS via Steam. I clicked to delete my Profile but it lasts ages (deleting will be possible on September). Now, I cannot make new Profile with the same email and I can't link my License Key or Steam Account with this Profile. Can you help to fix it?

Anyway the game doesn't work via Steam. Any ideas?

Missing product license key prevents me from establishing a link to my existing account with the manufacturer, so I can fly under my user name.

PLEASE SEND ME THE PRODUCT LICENSE KEY so I can complete my registration.

With anticipated thanks,

Bob

Hello,

I can confirm that IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad does not come with an activation key within Steam upon purchase. I just tried to reproduce your issue, but I was successful in linking my Steam account with my existing IL-2 account without the need for an activation key.

If you're continuing to experience issues with linking your accounts, please contact or continue to work with the game's support team here:

Maybe that's why I can link my account? When I bought from Steam, I don't recall getting a license key. I just bought, downloaded and started the game.

Did you buy BoS from the website or from steam?

If you bought it from the website, then you will most likely have to download the installer from the website as well. In this case, steam is not involved at all.

1. go to the IL-2 Sturmovik website and log in

2. go to profile in the top right

3. You will see the download link on the right in the red box.

If you bought it from steam, you can simply download the game through steam and once in-game you can link your IL-2 website account to your steam account.

You do not need any type of key to link your accounts, you turn the game on through steam, and then click link accounts when the login prompt displays, are you unable to get through that process? If you could detail what exactly the issue you are having is we may be able to help you out.

I have logged out an in a few times and don't see the link to the launcher. Can you post a physical link that I could copy and past to my browser and download the launcher?

Forgot to add: click on profile in the top right first, then you will see the red box with the download button.

Should be below promo codes.

Then I suppose you bought it through steam? Then download the game through steam. You can link the accounts once you start the game from steam.

I think you will only see the download link there if you have bought a game from the website.

I have downloaded the game through Steam. I have tried many ways to link my accounts and it keeps telling me wrong email or password. I have tried resetting my password but no joy.

Indeed, it must be some internal glitch that has to be debugged for the affected account.

Two weeks later they fixed it, accounts linked, HOORAY!
