Request : Better head control when inside

I like where this is going with Tank Crew..  

 

I would like to suggest some better camera control when you are inside the tank.

 

If you have track- ir you can move your head left/right up/down so you can better look through the vision slots.

 

But if you don't have track IR I cannot get my head to move sideways or up and down.

The only control I have over head movement is rotating the head (in which btw the center of rotation is not in the center, check this when you look down and rotate)

and zooming in (moving closer to the vision port)

 

There should be a way so you can move your head slightly to be able to look out the vision slot.

 

It is a bit hard to explain..  maybe I have to make a video of it.

 

I have a nice tank control scheme in UE4 where you simple move the head close to the vision port..  then that position will be the new pivot point of the head and you can simple look/rotate to look out the vision port.

 

man..  this is hard to explain!

 

We really need good head control since in realism mode with the limited visibility you should not have to fight the camera angles also!

You can also buy a Track IR equivalent solution for 40 €. Or do it yourself for maybe 20 €.

that's not a solution for people who don't have anything like it.

 

Not only that..  the above example feels much more natural when playing..  i sold my track ir because I did not use it that much..  only in ArmA..  and I don't fly that much (if ever)

 

I might setup a demo for download later down the line if no one is convinced.
