Has there been any thought about making a Night Witches Campaign and missions and career?

I want to make a female Soviet pilot, but I'm having a hard time finding enough resources to make her. I am trying is the only answer I can give.

Between FC, TC, Bodenplatte, new late war pilots for the blues and pilot models for the RAF/USAAF I imagine the modelling talent has their hands full right now. Add on top of that voice acting and historical research... Of course I'd love to see playable women pilots in game and would adore (and buy!) a campaign based on them, but you need people and time and a return on the investment

Not that I know much about 3d modeling but if the night witches uniform was the same as the male pilot would it not be quite easy to make a temporary model by just changing the the face and body proportions a bit?

Exactly.

As a stand-alone task it’s not a big deal.

(I say that as an experienced 3D modeler/texture artist) but trying to squeeze it into an already maximized (and then some) pipeline would be problematic.

Fingers crossed that we eventually get some soviet female pilots at some point, if resources and time allows.

Amazingly, with over 3000 tons of bombs dropped, about 23.000 missions flown, 800+ missions on tally sticks of some members at the end of the war, and 23 Hero of Soviet Union awards, only 32 were killed in action throughout entire war.

 

Guess this speaks for itself how hard it was for the Germans to hunt these apparitions down.
