#10005 Please update your game:new version available

What is this... I have never had to somehow manually update my game... can you explain how Im supposed to do this...?

same problem for me.

3.005 worked fine yesterday, this problem appeared today.

You have to start the game via the launcher for the auto update to work.  Dunno about the Steam version

 

C:\Program Files (x86)\1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\bin\game\launcher.exe

 

If you have a shortcut to IL2.exe it will bypass the launcher.

The game is started with the launcher. No change for my part since the last 6 monthes. NO shortcut or anything like that. It automatically updated to 3.002, 3..003 and so on with no problem each time in the past.

I grab an update a few days ago and I flew yesterday borth Fokker and spad and drove the tiger.

The problem with this message started today, as if it were not able to recognize the current release as the last one.

Try deleting update folder and relaunch, 

Has worked many times in past for people stuck in this 'bug' loop

Tx a lot Dakpilot. I deleted the update folder and relaunched. It works fine now.

much thanks on the fix with the launcher...my game is updating now....I did run it as administrator as well.
